I’m Ranting…

So I just prefaced with a title how I am so feeling at this moment.

Life can be so unfair at times.

My daughter, who is just awesome by the way ( I know I am so biased ).

But she really is!

She has this set of grandparents that are paternal and they do not care to even know who she is.

I mean, they know she is alive, but they do not know her at all.

They lived not even 30 minutes away for years and never made an attempt to see her. Every attempt was made by yours truly.

Then they lived an hour away ( we moved ) and still yet to make any attempt.

Then they move to another state without so much as a by the way we are moving….

She got a generic email they sent out to everyone in their email list it seems that they loved the casino’s and missed their friends.

I mean seriously, how dare they do that to her!!!!!!!!

My daughter talked to her grandmother today on Facebook and she was telling her about the time she had with her cousin..

So Casey asked, when can I come to see you….

Grandmother basically said, we have no time for you. They have to work, yadadada…..

Talk about a pissed off mama!!!! I am so stinking mad!

I know, I know she is better off without them! Rejection hurts. They hurt my baby princess….

SO ya know I emailed them and told them off right?

In a very nice and christian way too!

If there was ever a day I was going to cuss on my blog, today would be the day. *&%@

I decided to spare you from having to look away….

Some stuff I learned today, family does not mean everything to some folks.

I use seriously way too much,

seriously:)

I also like my periods at the end of my sentences…………………………

Ok Rant over, for the moment.

By the way, she has had some offers for a new set of grandparents and we are taking more applications…

  1. oh that STINKS when family does that!

But God knows that can happen in a fallen world with fallen, selfish people.
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. Isaiah 49:15-16

  2. She’s better off without them Ginger, if they move to a place so that they can gamble more. You know they can’t be a good influence. Count your blessings, and keep checking those applications.

  3. Aww, that’s not good. Sorry that’s happening to your girl, I know what it feels like to hurt for my daughter, so I can identify with your feelings. It does make you wanna curse!

    *hugs*

Casey is so lucky to have such a great mama, though!
